MENTAL DIORDER
The most
important in terms of mental disorders, it is referred to as dissociative
identity disorder. They describe it as the existence of one or more distinct
identities or personalities in the same individual, each with its own way of
perceiving and interacting with the environment. Also associated with memory
loss, forgetfulness is not normal, but small lapses amnesic. Although not to be
confused with schizophrenia which is also associated with dissociation.
In the field of
multiple personality psychiatrists and psychologists is a very controversial
term, few would seriously give this diagnosis. Most are not considered a mental
disorder, but a mere delusion based cultural and therapeutic.
An example is a
person named Tracy who mentioned that he had five personalities:
Emily a 5 year old
girl.
Sisie a girl of 10
years.
Becky's aggressive.
Samantha CEO.
Miss Anne's
caretaker.
OCD
The discovery that
some drugs are effective in the treatment of OCD has changed the view to be had
of this neurological problem. Today not only effective therapies exist, but
there is a great deal of research on the causes of neurological problem and a search
for new treatments.
One example is of a
girl who is wash your hands every time you touch something that she and I
cleaned aya taca tend to wash their hands nearly 20 times wing washed hour.
BIPOLAR.
Bipolar affective
disorder (BAD), also known as bipolar disorder and past as manic-depression
(PMD) is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a mood disorder characterized
by the presence of one or more episodes of abnormally elevated energy levels ,
cognition and mood. Clinically reflected in states of mania or, in milder
cases, hypomania with concomitant or alternating episodes of depression, so
that the affected usually oscillates between joy and sadness in a much more
marked than people who do not have this pathology.
The basic element for the treatment of bipolar
disorder is awareness of the problem, its knowledge by the affected and their
relatives through psychoeducation to enable them to cope with the crisis
without unfounded fears and most valid tools, as well as prevent relapse.
Custom Drug therapy, especially during the phases of imbalance is another key.
Benzodiazepines, antipsychotics and mood stabilizers are the most commonly used
drugs.
